Monthly Board Meeting

Tuesday, August 10, 6:00PM to 8:00PM

We are ALWAYS done by 8 PM. If you cannot make it in, we have a Zoom conference space you can use to be telepresent.You must register in order to access the meeting via Zoom. A registration button is in the event details on the volunteer.bluewaterfoundation.org site when you are logged in. Use it to register. Registration will generate connection details which are good for subsequent meetings.

CCC Youth Probation (Benjamin Walters)

Saturday, August 21, 8:30AM to 3:30PM

Monthly sail with students from Contra Costa County's Orin Allen Youth Rehabilitation Facility (OAYRF).
08:30 Crew report and prep for the day
09:00 Students arrive; short classroom session and then head out.
15:00 Return to slip / debrief / store the boat.
~15:30 Departure.
I'll bring sandwiches for the students and crew--please advise of any dietary restrictions. If you're inclined (but not required), bring along snacks, cookies to share.

Take Golden Bear to Make-and-Mend (Golden Bear)

Saturday, August 28, 8:00AM to 9:00AM

Start your day with a transit of the Bay to Make-and-mend. Crew needed to help bring the boat over. As Golden Bear will be overnight at Berkeley, car-pooling to return to SF is encouraged. NOTE: this is a one-way trip, meeting at SF Small Craft Marina, and ending at Berkeley Marina.

Make-and-Mend, Fall 2021, Day 1

Saturday, August 28, 9:00AM to 3:00PM

It's been a while and we need some deep cleaning of the boats. Keeping our boats in top shape is also important for us to be able to continue to insure the boats. This will be a two-day event--allowing some time in between for things to dry out, etc. in between. Start at 9:00 each day. This is day 1 of 2. Come for one or both!
