Third class with this cohort. Live overboard drill. This thrills the students and cements the crew.
Join our All Lady Crew as we welcome young women from Alameda County Juvenile Hall aboard for a powerful day on the Bay. This new program shows these girls that there is life after incarceration and that the water is meant to be embraced, not feared. Led entirely by women, the sail highlights strength, confidence, and sisterhood, inspiring hope and new beginnings.
Certified crew and female volunteers are encouraged to sign up and be part of this meaningful experience.
We are ALWAYS done by 8 PM. If you cannot make it in, we have a Zoom conference space you can use to be telepresent. You must register in order to access the meeting via Zoom. A registration button is in the event details on the volunteer.bluewaterfoundation.org site when you are logged in. Use it to register. Registration will generate connection details which are good for subsequent meetings.
